Admissions

 

Admission to a graduate program is through the Graduate College of the University, and a review by the Department.  Evidence of ability to carry on advanced work is a requirement for admission.  Individual study programs are developed within the department and supporting areas to reflect undergraduate preparation, previous training and the goals of the student.  Program flexibility is achieved through excellent interdisciplinary cooperation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA for M.S. Program
  • Minimum of 3.5 GPA during M.S. study for Ph.D. Program
  • Minimum TOEFL score: Paper-based 550, CBT 213, iBT 79
  • Competitive GRE score
  • Items to be uploaded to the Graduate College web site
