Internship - Research Experience for Undergraduates

Two undergraduate internship positions are available for junior- and senior-year undergraduate civil engineering majors for an NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates project title "Flood-Induced Bridge Scour Prediction Using Bio-inspired Smart Sensor Network," with principal investigators Jennifer G. Duan and Hongki Jo.

The eight-week internship lasts from June 2017, at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Interns will receive a $500 per week stipend and a $420 per week renting allowance. 

Applicants must submit a one-page statement of research interest, a one-page curriculum vitae, college transcripts and contact information for two references as soon as possible. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
