Kevin E. Lansey is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics and an adjunct faculty in the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources at the University of Arizona. Dr. Lansey has conducted research on a range of water resources problems with emphasis on water distribution and systems analysis. This work has resulted in over 100 publications and based on his contributions he was awarded the ASCE Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize for Young Researchers in 2002. For five years, he served as Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management including working as co-editor on the special issue on Water Distribution Systems. Dr. Lansey has been recognized with three teaching awards.

  • M.S. Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia.
  • B.S. Forest Engineering, State University of New York – College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, New York, 1981.
  • Montclair State College, Montclair, New Jersey (9/77 – 6/79).
